UPDATE: Our homebred Paso Fino youngsters are growing up and several are heading into the show ring for the first time this year. The offspring of Caballo’s Top Gun are doing particularly well. Macadoo’s Cesar was the 2010 PFHA High Point A/O 3 year old Pleasure Gelding for the Mason Dixon region. He then went on to show and place at Nationals in Georgia.
RO-NO's Schlivovitz (Jess) will be shown by her new owner. This lovely filly been in work at RO-NO all winter, has done lots of trail riding, and has made great progress.
RO-NO's Maker's Mark and RO-NO's Absolut (Al) will turn two this year and will start their initial training this spring. Both have inherited Caballo's Top Gun’s sweet temperament. Mark is a very laid back, pleasure type like his mother Misty while Al is full of brio like his dam Sonata and very upright and handsome!!! Their half-brother Tiro who is out of Sheri Becker’s nice mare Little Bee, will be three this year. He was started lightly by Nola's son Robbie last year and even performed in the arena with his sire at the PA Horse Expo. Tiro won the 2009 PFHA Year End High Point Bella Forma Yearling Gelding.
Special mention should be made of RO-NO's Tia Maria (Nina) who is excelling in her new career as trail horse extraordinaire with owner Richard Gregory, who has ridden her hundreds of miles in Alaska and North Dakota. Nina’s exploits will soon be featured in the PFHW magazine.
Mr Gregory, who is almost eighty years old, reports that Nina is a willing and hardy trail partner and she is a great advertisement for her breed wherever she goes. Also heading back into the show ring with her proud owner will be RO-NO’s Tequila (Sneak) who is by Macadoo’s Gemello.
Nola is excited about showing weanling Royal Flush Savannah, who is the first foal sired by proven stallion Pastor del Juncal to be born at RO-NO. She is extremely well gaited, is a fast developer and has a stellar personality. Her mother is Katarina de Luminoso.
